Clients
The Clients section lets you track who you do business with and see a full history of their transactions and invoices.
Adding a Client
- Go to Clients in the left sidebar
- Click + Add Client
- Enter the client name and any optional contact info (email, phone, address)
- Click Save
Client Detail Page
Click any client to open their detail page, which shows:
- Outstanding Balance — total unpaid invoices
- Transaction History — all transactions linked to this client
- Invoice History — all invoices issued to this client
Linking Transactions to Clients
When adding or editing a transaction, select the client from the Client dropdown. This is optional — not every income entry needs to be tied to a client — but it enables the Revenue by Client report and the client's transaction history.
Transactions imported from Square and Stripe are automatically matched to clients when the customer name or email matches an existing client record.
Outstanding Balance
A client's outstanding balance is the sum of all invoices in sent or overdue status. Invoices in draft, paid, or cancelled status do not count toward the balance.
Editing and Deleting Clients
Click the edit icon on the Clients list to update a client's info. Clients with linked transactions or invoices cannot be deleted — deactivate them instead if you no longer work with them.
