Payroll

The Payroll module lets you manage employees and run payroll with federal and Utah state withholding calculated automatically from the 2026 tax tables.

Managing Employees

Go to Employees in the left sidebar to manage your employee list.

Adding an Employee

Click + Add Employee and fill in the fields:

Editing or Removing an Employee

Click the edit icon to update any field. Click delete to remove the employee — this does not delete past pay runs that included them.

Running Payroll

  1. Go to Payroll in the left sidebar
  2. Click + New Pay Run
  3. Select the pay period dates and the employees to include
  4. Enter Gross Pay for each employee
  5. Federal and Utah state withholding are calculated automatically
  6. Review the totals and click Run Payroll to finalize

Once a pay run is finalized it cannot be edited. Create a correcting run if adjustments are needed.

Click any completed pay run to see the full breakdown:

Export PDF generates a formatted pay run summary you can print or file.

Tax Tables

Withholding is calculated from the 2026 federal and Utah tax tables stored in Settings → Tax Tables. These need to be updated each January when the IRS and Utah Tax Commission publish new tables.

WARNING

The built-in tables are for tax year 2026. If you are running payroll in a different tax year, update the tables in Settings before running pay runs.
